The Nomination Committee charged with seeking a minister for the vacant charge of Balfron and Fintry linked with Drymen and East Loch Lomond. unanimously selected Rev. Alex Smeed as their sole nominee.
It has been arranged that he will lead Sunday morning worship in Drymen and Balfron Churches at the usual times on Sunday 10th August 2025.
Congregational votes will be held immediately after the services.
Formal edicts will be read to congregations on 27th July and 3rd August, and posted on the websites then. It is hoped that as many as possible will attend on 10th August as only members and adherents present will be able to vote.
