This week, can we remember the victims of the hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. Numbers of those killed vary greatly, but newsreel videos of devastation in Jamaica and Cuba show great areas of the townships completely flattened, with folk combing through the destruction in an attempt to salvage something to eat and drink. Pray the authorities (including Britain) get their act together quickly and get assistance to those who had very little before the storm and are now completely destitute.
