This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, there can be no Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial.
One way for those who wish to remember the fallen in the
wars of this and the last century, would be to paint a stone with a poppy and lay it on the
War Memorial. Even if we can't meet for an act of remembrance, our stones and pebbles will be there to show we remember.
Placing the stones, as well as other memorials and wreaths, at the War Memorial might be difficult due to the roadworks, so the Church would like to suggest they may be placed temporarily at the
West wall, by the bell tower entrance, until the road works are
finished when we will then move them to the
War Memorial.
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
